Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Welcome to Stanza (stanza.fm). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stanza, a service operated by Limehouse Inc. (“Stanza,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, signing in to, or otherwise using Stanza, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service. Your continued use of the service after these Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.

2. Service Description

Stanza is a social platform for tracking and discussing notable people who appear in podcasts, interviews, conference talks, panels, and other recorded conversations. The service lets registered users follow people and shows, mark episodes as “Want To Listen” or “Listened,” and “Echo” episodes that resonated with them.

Stanza is a pointer service. Stanza links to podcasts, videos, and other media hosted on external platforms (including but not limited to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and podcast publishers’ own websites). We do not host, control, or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legality of that content. Playback, download, and consumption of the linked media occur on the third-party platforms, subject to those platforms’ own terms and policies.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The service is currently offered free of charge; we may introduce paid features in the future, in which case the applicable terms will be disclosed at that time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use Stanza. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Stanza accounts are created and accessed exclusively through Google OAuth sign-in. By signing in, you authorize us to receive the basic profile information that Google provides for authentication.

You may maintain only one account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any content submitted and any actions taken. You must keep your Google account credentials secure and must notify us promptly if you believe your Stanza account has been accessed without your permission.

We may refuse to create, or may suspend or remove, any account that we reasonably believe has been created or used in violation of these Terms.

5. User Content

“User Content” means any content you submit to Stanza, including usernames, display names, profile information, and any other text or data you provide.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

By submitting User Content, you grant Stanza a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, sublicensable solely to service providers necessary to operate the Service, to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for formatting purposes), distribute, and otherwise use the User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the service. This license includes the right to make your User Content visible to other users of the service as part of the normal functioning of features such as profiles, episode pages, and feeds.

You may delete your User Content or your account at any time through the service’s settings. When you delete User Content, the license granted above terminates, except that (a) we may retain copies in backups and logs for a reasonable period as part of our standard operations, and (b) User Content that has been shared with or copied by other users may continue to exist independently of your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Stanza to do any of the following:

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or intimidate any person, or engage in hate speech or discriminatory conduct;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Post spam, unsolicited commercial content, or repetitive or misleading material;
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the service by automated means, except as expressly permitted by us in writing or by a public API we provide;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • Upload, transmit, or link to viruses, malware, or other malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the service;
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party;
  • Use the service to engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data, or to circumvent any access controls or rate limits.

We may investigate and take appropriate action against any suspected violation, including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts.

7. Intellectual Property

The Stanza name, logo, brand, design, software, and the service as a whole are owned by Limehouse Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the service or its branding.

Third-party content referenced, linked, or displayed through the service (including podcast titles, episode titles, artwork, audio, video, transcripts, and descriptions) belongs to the respective rights holders. Your use of that content is governed by the terms of the platforms that host it.

User Content belongs to the user who submitted it, subject to the license granted to us in Section 5.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

Stanza displays metadata about, and links to, content hosted on external platforms. When you follow a link from Stanza to an external platform, your interaction with that platform is governed by the platform’s own terms of service and privacy policy, not by ours.

We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any third-party content. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, availability, legality, or safety of any external content or platform. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, third-party content or services.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the service’s settings. Upon deletion, your profile and your User Content will be removed from the service, subject to the backup and residual-copy considerations described in Section 5.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, that your use of the service poses a risk to us or to other users, or that we are required to do so by law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5 (as to licenses in surviving copies), 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17) will survive termination of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, that any defects will be corrected, or that the service or any content available through it will meet your requirements. Any content accessed through third-party platforms is provided by those platforms, and we disclaim all warranties regarding that content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Limehouse Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights to bring claims in the courts of your place of residence under applicable consumer protection law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stanza regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements or understandings on the subject.

15. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of substantially all of our assets, in which case we will provide reasonable notice to you.

16. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, labor disputes, governmental actions, internet or telecommunications failures, or pandemic.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stanza (Limehouse Inc.) and its officers, directors, and employees from any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) content you submit to the Service, including usernames or other text you provide; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect by posting a notice at the top of the Terms page and by sending an email to signed-in users at the email address associated with their account. Non-material changes (such as corrections of typographical errors or clarifying rewordings) may take effect immediately upon posting.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and may delete your account. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
